The east coast of Italy is often overlooked by travelers compared to the Italian Riviera and major cities of Rome, Milan, Venice and others. However, when we visited Monopoli we absolutely loved it! Monopoli is a small city south of Bari by the heel of Italy. It has beautiful cove beaches, a great town with restaurants, bars, and shops, and a very relaxed feel to it. We plan on visiting again in the future and hope these photos inspire you to visit Monopoli, Italy as well!
