We’re Nicki and Dave and welcome to Truth of Traveling!

We have always loved traveling and every time we returned from a trip we immediately began planning the next one.

In 2019 we decided to sell everything, pack our backpacks, and set off on an adventure around the world! We have now visited over 30 countries together! In that time we have seen so many amazing places and also learned A LOT about traveling!

In 2020 we built out a Ford Transit van and are now traveling around the US in our home on wheels!

Our goal for Truth of Traveling is to show you that whether you travel for a week or for a year, it doesn’t have to be overwhelming and you can certainly do it on a budget!
